Every star has a story. Some are old as time, faint and almost forgotten. Others burn bright and end their lives in powerful explosions. New stars are created every day, born of vast clouds of gas and dust. Through every phase of their existence, stars release the energy that powers the universe. Journey to the furthest reaches of our galaxy and experience both the awesome beauty and destructive power of STARS.
This dramatic program features the voice talent of Mark Hamill. The Nashville Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Albert-George Schram, resident conductor, performed part of the STARS soundtrack. STARS was made possible, in part, by a gift from SunTrust Bank, Inc.

What's up on Mars? Discoveries are coming from the red planet so quickly it can be difficult to keep up. We'll take you through a brief history of Mars exploration, then fill you in on the latest news and pictures from our robotic explorers. We'll even show you how to find Mars from your own back yard! What can you see in tonight's night sky? Sit back, relax, and watch the stars come out as we take you on a tour of the constellations, planets and other astronomical sights that you can find. No telescopes required! This is a great opportunity to ask questions or make requests.

Cosmic Concerts
Brilliant laser light plus state of the art full-dome digital projection and a spectacular star field bring your favorite music to life on our dome. It's the ultimate journey in sight and sound!
Laser shows are $6 for Adventure Science Center members and $8 for non-members. All laser shows are add-ons to Adventure Science Center general admission, except for Saturday night programs. Click here for more information.
